Self-Healing on a Budget 


When I first started my healing journey, I was in a very dark place. I was suffering from PTSD, experiencing postpartum depression, and the business I had with my husband at the time was really struggling. Financially, I was not in a place to invest in the help I needed to get out of that dark space… but I knew I had to start somewhere. 

This is something I hear a lot from my clients. They are struggling, they know that they need to address the issues that are causing their pain - physical and mental - but financially they are unable to get the help they need.

I want to share how I was able to begin my healing journey with very little money and I hope that it will help you…

At this time in my life I was living in Costa Rica. I serendipitously came across a Reiki Master and I ended up making the small investment necessary to train with her. It felt like a lot, but I knew that I would learn tools that would help me on an ongoing basis. And this is why Reiki is a great way to start - for very little investment, you have the tools in your own hands and are empowered to take control of your own healing process.

Before we go into this more, you need to know that the most important thing in any type of healing you do, is that you have a personal commitment to it.

You have to commit to yourself, that you are going to take time every day or every other day, however often is necessary, for you to experience a shift.

Just making that commitment and adhering to it will start to shift and move the energy and people will show up. Opportunities will show up, things will show up that will help you on your journey.

When we commit to taking that empowered action for ourselves, miracles really do start showing up for us.

And not only that, but in that commitment, even if it's 30 minutes a day or 20 minutes a day, when we commit to doing it on a regular basis, change will happen and your healing will unfold as it’s supposed to.

The most important aspect of healing is that we feel empowered, strong, and confident in our ability to heal ourselves because our bodies know how to heal and they know what to do, but sometimes they need some prompting. Sometimes they need some guidance, they need our friendship; our bodies need us to be committed to their health and wellbeing.
