Developing the Psychic Sense of Clairsentience

Today I’m going to talk about clairsentience. This psychic sense is all about the psychic ability to sense things around you. Clairsentience is often mistaken for being an empath, and although they are very similar, there are some subtle differences. When you are an empath, you sense the emotions of the people around you. If a friend of yours comes over to say hi, you might feel that underneath their smile, they are really, really sad. And as an empath, you’ll often take that sadness on as your own.

With clairsentience, you would also feel the sadness of that person, but not only would you feel it, you’d also know where that sadness came from. You’d know what happened to that person and have psychic insight into the sadness itself. You might feel sick to your stomach if somebody else in the room is feeling sick. You might even feel somebody who is deceased in that same way.

With an empath, it tends to be more about feeling the emotions of others, while with clairsentience, there is the added aspect of a physical sensation.

As you move along your path to develop clairsentience, remember that you can take what feels right to you and your understanding of it, and allow that to be what works for you and your reality. The psychic senses show up for people in different ways, so taking the time to develop them in your own way is important.
