How to Deal with Change
Change is a big thing for most of us. It can sometimes freak us out a little and one thing that I have noticed is that there can be a lot of resistance to it. In the past, even I was much more resistant to change than I am now. As I've been working in the healing field for so many years now, with so many people, and through my own self healing, what I've really noticed is that a lot of resistance to change has to do with unresolved trauma and pain from the past.
For a lot of people, when growing up change was associated with volatility. Change could be something that indicated unpredictability, you didn't know what sort of consequences might come with it. And so there can be a triggered reaction to change and the fear that is associated with past trauma.
Know that if you're resistant to change, it doesn't mean that there's anything wrong with you. It doesn't mean that you're doing anything wrong.
What it really means is that there might be something for you to look at as far as where that's coming from and that can typically be done through reflection, through knowing and having awareness around your triggers, and then through doing work as those triggers come up.
Click here to watch the video below where I talk about specific types of change that might trigger you and how you can work through it…
In the video I also share some changes that are happening for me and my business. I’ve really been getting clear on what is most lighting me up right now - what, in my practice, are the things that I most love. And the things that I've come up with are my healing work and my work with the divine feminine and all of the ways that that shows up. It shows up through retreat work, through women's circles, through my healing work, and through ceremony work.
So, as we move towards the end of the year and into 2020, you’ll be seeing some shifts around that. Specifically, my weekly Facebook lives are moving from their usual time at 5:30pm ET on Tuesdays to 10:30am ET on Mondays. I’ll be focusing more on the divine feminine, but of course, as specific topics may come up around intuition or intuitive development, I will speak on those as I’m called to. My weekly lives will also be shared on IGTV for those of you who prefer to engage over there.
I hope you continue to join me for my weekly live and please send me a message if you have any feedback.
Sending you so much love,
